Foods we eat that contains a variety of minerals, vitamins and other nutrients that keep our body healthier. Nutrients that are need for our bones are calcium, below are some foods that are good for our bones.

SOY MILK:



Soy is a good source of low-fat and plant-based protein. It is cholesterol-free, has less saturated fat than cow's milk. Non-dairy products like fortified soy milk can be amazing high calcium foods and provide both calcium and vitamin D.


CHEESE:


One of the most valuable nutrients in cheese is vitamin K2. Cheese, especially that made from the milk of grass-pastured animals, is an excellent source of several important nutrients.

MILK:


Everybody knows that milk is a good nutrient that contains calcium. It's easily digestible and absorb able, If you want to drink the milk for strong bones, I recommend not more than one glass a day. 

ORANGE:


Oranges contains vitamin D, which is good for our immune system and also a source for bone strengthening calcium. Oranges are the citrus fruit that belong to the family of Rutaceae, a flowering plant family which also includes lime, lemon and grapefruit. Orange is native to Southeast Asia and now has been cultivated worldwide in warm climate regions.

 


GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLE:





Green leafy vegetables are one of the high calcium foods. Some dark, leafy greens are rich in calcium. Dark green leafy vegetables, like kale, broccoli, spinach and celery.
